Book #4 in a 15 Book Series
Book Summary:
When at first you don’t succeed—turn to abduction.
It’s all in a day’s work when this Siberian tiger meets the woman he wants.
An accidental kidnapping? Check.
A forced marriage? Check.
A virgin bride? Damn. There go his plans for seduction and here comes the pressure into making her first time perfect. Because everyone knows that’s the one she’ll remember, forever. Gulp.
Add in a plane crash as well as hunters out to capture them and the heat is truly on.
Can this Siberian tiger meet the challenge?
Mini Review:
Riding the coattails of When an Omega Snaps, we pick the story right back up at Leo and Meena’s wedding. Meena’s twin sister Teena is ever bit of the disaster of her sister but without the aggression. Teena means well with everything that she does, she can’t help that bad luck seems to follow her wherever she goes. After nearly face planting while walking down the aisle, knocking over a waiter when looking around, and kicking a tray out of someone’s hand when she was dancing – she isn’t surprised that most men run for the hills when they try to date her. With her, “death do you part” may come sooner than expected! No wonder why she is surprised when Dmitri can’t seem to take his eyes off her. She has never felt so drawn to someone and yet, even this situation spells trouble as Dmitri was just stalking her sister. Having no desire to play runner up, Teena accepts that some things just aren’t meant to be. Drinking away her sorrows, Teena awakens to find herself in a situation that would only happen to her – hungover, kidnapped, and married! Trying to figure out the who (Dmitri), the what (drugged and kidnapped), and why (a text message that never transmitted), Teena decides the one good thing that will come out of this is that she can finally lose her pesky virginity. She just has to convince her husband!
This book is just silly! It was part of a four book collection so I figured why not. I thought Meena’s story was insane, Teena is just cursed. No real depth to the story, we find ourselves enjoying Dmitri and Teena’s interactions as they figure out their attraction to one another, fight off kidnappers, escape being shot at, hide out in a cave, and take on a shifter hunter. As I said, this wasn’t a deep book but definitely a Michael Bay action packed adventure. The humor comes from Dmitri’s attempt to woo Teena while using the logic of a romance hero (using the worst takeaways – hence the kidnapping). The sexual tension, innuendos, and family insanity is what keeps you locked in. I laughed all the way to the end and then sighed at such a sweet wrap up. As much as I want to step away from this series, I already have book five queued up. I don’t know if the author will get back to the meat and depth that made When the Alpha Purrs but I am willing to read one more to find out.

Eve Langlais
“Hello, my name is Eve and I am a Canadian author who loves to write hot romance, usually with hot shifters, cyborgs or aliens. I should warn you that I possess a twisted imagination and a sarcastic sense of humor something I like to let loose in my writing.
I love to write, and while I don’t always know what my mind is going to come up with next, I can promise it will be fun, probably humorous and most of all romantic, because I love a happily ever after.”
