    Mini Review:

    I have come to terms with my addiction to hockey romances but I will say, so far – this one has been my favorite. Sylvia took everything romance readers love about the nice guy, boy next door, complete sweetheart and stuffed him into a hot hockey player with talented hands and a filthy mind. Call it win/win!! Where is a magic wand when you need one, pixie dust, a blue fairy – something to bring a character like Roscoe to life! Oh well – one can dream. I will say this one was a little more heartbreaking than the other two. In the two prior books, the female protagonist had to overcome heartbreak/heartache caused by a prior love in their lives. In this one, tragedy is what brought Ally to Buffalo. She found herself in a situation she wouldn’t wish on anyone – a single mother trying to survive the death of the love of her life. Watching her trying to balance her teenage daughter, her grief, her anxiety – she was the embodiment of strength. Their story was one of hope, struggle, and healing.
