Boy Toy

Book #3 in a 4 Book Series

Book Summary:

LIAM
The moment Sadie Matthews walks through the daycare center door, I feel my world tilt in her direction. Again. I fell for her when I was fourteen, and I’m still not over her. Problem: she still thinks of me as a teen she used to babysit. But I’ve learned a few things about pleasing a woman in the last fifteen years. I can’t wait to show her how good it could be. I need to move quickly before I lose her again. This is more than a game to me, but I still plan to win.

SADIE
I’ve just survived the worst year of my life. As a single mom of twin toddlers, I don’t have time for a man. I barely have time to finish a thought. Who knew that Liam McAllister would grow up to be so devastating? He’s everything my husband was not: tall, built, and willing to have a tea party with my girls.

I can’t possibly get involved with him. He’s too young for me. Too handsome. But he’s so persuasive…

Mini Review:

I finally realized what I love so much about these books – the alter ego! In Man Hands, it was Tom’s manhood. In this one, it’s Liam’s inner 14 year old. I laughed so hard in this book I could barely focus! In book three, we have finally reached the third friend of the group. From being the envy of married couples everywhere in Man Hands, to seeing splinters in her marriage in Man Card, we reconnect with Sadie post divorce after her husband decides he loves the nanny more than her. Determined to put her life back together and be a single mother and career woman, she has to do the one thing she never dreamed of – dropping her kids off at daycare. What she also didn’t dream of was the GORGEOUS 29 year old that catches her eye and seems happy to see her for some reason. Turns out milk does do the body good as the 14 year she babysat when she was 20 has turned into a knockout. Her determination to resist Liam and his 15 year infatuation with Sadie just keeps the ball rolling and the jokes flowing. We also were able to receive updates on Brynn and Ash through Sadie’s story, providing a nice closeout (so far) with these three amazing women. I can’t wait to check out Man Cuffed as we were briefly introduced to the firecracker that is Sadie’s sister Meg. She was a handful in the brief time we met her in Boy Toy, I can only imagine what she is going to get into within her own story!
