Can’t Text This

Book #3 of a 4 Part Series

Book Summary:

“Hi Monty. Wanna see my python?”

That’s how I ended up in the bathroom of some dive bar with a stranger.

Me, Monty Andrews, the quintessential virgin girl next door.

I was so out of my element, but there was no denying our explosive attraction, even via text.

Commence Operation Bang Each Other Out of Our Systems, because that was all it was–unfinished business.

I had no intention of falling back into the sheets with the tattooed, muscly, dirty-in-the-best-kind-of-way single dad over and over again…but I did.

Everything was going great–until we discovered I was his son’s teacher.

Mini Review:

Confession time. I absolutely love Monty Python, and I’m embarrassed that I didn’t get the pick-up line right away. For the record, I assumed he had a tattoo and took the line literally until a few pages later when it jumped up and smacked me in the face. With the other pick-up lines mentioned, I should have caught on sooner, but nope – I did not! Aside from that blunder on my part, this book carries the hilarity and texting format of its two predecessors.

In this book, we get to hang out with Robbie, who we met in “Let’s Get Textual” as Zack’s best friend and former roommate. For that reason, we are able to check in with Delia, Zack, and the goats! We also have a chance to meet Robbie’s adorable son, Xavie, and see two sides of Robbie: the dedicated single father and the drop-dead gorgeous stranger in a bar who tests Monty’s good girl image.

As always, the texting banter is absolutely hilarious. Robbie is everything – charming, sweet, funny, and a master at text messages that would make any woman blush. Teagan decided to tackle an opposites-attract theme with Monty and Robbie, making them incredibly different but Robbie just seductive and trustworthy enough to pull Monty out of her shell. It also had a slight love triangle edge that put an interesting spin on the third-act breakup, but other than that, this one was an utter delight to read.

Teagan is a Missouri-raised gal, but currently lives in South Carolina with her Marine veteran husband. She spends her days begging him for a cat, and survives off coffee, pizza, and sarcasm. When she’s not writing, you can find her binge-watching various TV shows, especially Supernatural and One Tree Hill. She likes cold weather, buys more paperbacks than she’ll ever read, and she never says no to brownies.

Writing is her passion, and this is just the beginning of her journey.
