Mini Review:
I had the pleasure of reading Book Five as an ARC and Amanda’s bonus story before reading Book One. I knew I had to get to know the Wilder Clan as I couldn’t stop laughing with this insane bunch. Book #1, where it all starts, did not disappoint. Bell doesn’t waste any time as she dives into Lucy and Gabe’s story. You are quickly introduced to the Wilder Men – Kane, Gabe, Easton, Brody, and Clark and the one sister keeping them all in check – Amanda. We also meet the honorary wilder Hanna. This story was fun, cute, and reminds you that life doesn’t always go as plan. The dance Lucy and Gabe do as they try to convince themselves of what they want mentally (while their heart screams something else) is typical rom com fashion. It’s the brotherly dynamic that makes the book a joy to read. From beginning to end, you are either shaking your head in frustration, your shoulders with laughter, or gushing over just how cute these Wilder Men can be. Completely smitten, I immediately jumped into book #2 and can’t wait to watch each Wilder fall madly in love with some of the strongest female characters I have had the pleasure of reading.
