Scoring The Keeper’s Sister

Book #1 in a 7 Book Series

Book Summary:

Soulmates don’t always start as friends. Sometimes they start as enemies. And sometimes they need cheese to help seal the deal…

ERICA:  Signing up for a matchmaking service was not my idea.

But when Andrew-the-Hand-Model dumped me, my brother suggested I try Mr. Match. And I figured it couldn’t hurt. As it was, I’d never get away from meathead moron soccer players (since my brother plays keeper for the South Bay Sharks and I manage PR for the team.)

But Mr. Match is a moron too because he matched me with a guy I see at work every day. A guy who has a different girl on his arm at every turn. And a soccer player.

Fernando Fuerte, the “Fuerte Fire,” is one guy I can assure you is NOT my match.

FERNANDO:  Getting girls is not a problem. Getting girls who care about something besides my status as the South Bay Sharks star striker, my salary, and my social status?

Yeah. That’s the problem. So when my buddy Max tells me he’s actually Mr. Match–the secret proprietor of San Diego’s hottest matchmaking app, I let him convince me to try it.

And Erica Johnson is not actually a bad match–only she doesn’t seem to agree. And then there’s the small matter of her being in the middle of trying to save the team (and me) when the owner’s ex brings to light some, ahem, unsavory accusations about me…

And then there’s her enormous and disapproving twin brother…

And there’s something about cheese, too.

But if I have my way? Erica will definitely be my match.

Mini Review:

Stewart packed A LOT in 200 pages but this soccer romance is a ton of fun and a lot of sass. While it is technically the second book in the series (according to Amazon), it is the kick of to the Mr. Match series outside of Max’s family. Erica and Fernando can’t stand each other. Correction, Erica can’t stand the rotating bedroom door that belongs to Fernando. Fernando can’t stand the ball-busting ankle biter that is Erica. Doesn’t stop them from starring in the lead role in each other fantasies! Doesn’t matter, not going to happen. They are complete opposites in every way, or so they thought. After signing up for Mr. Match and completing an intake form that makes getting top secret security clearance look easy, they discover they are actually perfect for each other and Mr. Match is never wrong! Fighting against fate with all of their might, Erica and Fernando slowly find themselves falling into friendship and so much more but life isn’t going to make it that easy (if it did, the book would only be a few chapters long!) There is sneak peek at book #2 that focuses on Erica’s brother. While it didn’t grab my attention enough to continue the series, I strongly recommend this one and you decide for yourself it you want to keep going.

About the Book Authors

Delancey Stewart

I’m USA Today Bestselling author Delancey Stewart. My contemporary romances run the gamut of settings and setups, but they always deliver humor, heart and heat. It’s a guarantee.

I write from my home near Denver, CO, where I manage a household full of boys and men. Okay, only one man. The hubs. But two boys. I mean, three if you count the hubs. (You see why I do words and not numbers. I was told there’d be no math in this bio. Someone lied.) There is also a dog named Charlie Taco.

I grew up in California and have had more jobs than anyone on earth (personal trainer, pharmaceutical rep, copywriter, tech writer, marketing director, wine seller, elementary school teacher… I’m not kidding. The list. It goes on.) But the one I love the most is writing, in part because I get to meet people who love books and stories as much as I do!”
