Book #4 of a 4 Book Series
Book Summary:
Two strangers. One secret encounter. A whole lotta forbidden chemistry.
It was supposed to be an anonymous thrill, fueled by raw desire.
No strings, just the escape we both craved.
The last thing I need is complications, especially from a casual hookup. That was the plan.
Except now, he’s not just some guy from a night I can’t forget. He’s in front of my class…teaching it. Turns out life has some unexpected lessons in store for me, and my professor is holding the syllabus.
Suddenly, what was supposed to be simple is anything but.
Our connection is too intense, and the stakes are way too high—his career, my recovery, our futures.
Every class is a battle against temptation, every glance a spark threatening to ignite.
We know it’s reckless, yet the magnetic pull between us is irresistible. I’m not just battling the ghosts of my past but also the fear that everything I’ve worked so hard to rebuild might crumble.
He has everything to lose, and so do I. But when surrender feels this right, walking away becomes the toughest test of all.
From the author of Want Me comes the fourth new adult college romance in the Extracurricular Activities series.
Mini Review:
While all signs point to this being the last book in the series, I am still curious about Ansel! In either case, if this was the final book in the Extracurricular Activities series, it was a wonderful way to end it. We indirectly learn about Cam in “Want Me.” We meet him briefly when he returns to apologize and share that he is coming back to school in “Try Me.” We also learn how much his history intertwined with Mark and Chet. We befriend him in “Show Me” after he moves in to take up the last roommate spot after Eric and Nate move out (one spot already being taken by Sam), and we finally get to watch him move through his last year of college, two years after he accidentally overdosed and essentially blew up his life as he knew it. All the stories we received about Cam were secondhand (until his heartfelt apology to Mark), but being in his head and seeing how his past threatens his present on an everyday basis makes you find yourself rooting for him and hoping that he can finally be himself, free of judgment, stigma, and everything else that initially drove him down a path of substance abuse.
His story with Grady was beautifully told and felt more true to life. I loved that Cam even pointed out how their resolution didn’t go the way of fairytale endings with grand gestures or full-on drama. It was the natural push and pull of two people finding the right person at the wrong time, the challenges of obstacles and obstructions versus feelings, and navigating the path with mature decision-making and realistic expectations. Having read the entire series, I enjoyed the close touch to reality of this one (after the insane meet-cute). I was happy that they didn’t make Paul some type of boogeyman/villain and it didn’t turn into an all-out dramatic event or outrageous scandal. It was just a sweet story of two people who thought they were broken and unlovable finding each other.
I did enjoy seeing all the guys together again, and the graduation day moment and Cam’s heart-to-heart with Mark and what happened after were definitely moments that made my heart flutter and fall in love with this series more than I already had.

About the Book Author
Neve Wilder
Neve Wilder reads promiscuously, across multiple genres, but her favorite stories always contain an element of romance. Incidentally, this is also what she likes to write. Slow-burners with delicious tension? Yes. Whiplash-inducing page-turners, also yes. And every flavor in between.
She believes that love conquers all. Except the heat index in July. Nothing can conquer that b@stard.
