Book #5 of a 5 Book Series
Book Summary:
Two polar opposites. One impossible physics class. A whole lotta attraction.
I have no sympathy for slackers like Josh Pickett, who think that just because they’re athletes they can skate by and leave the academic heavy-lifting to nerds like me. And especially not slackers who’ve already left me hanging on a class project once before, forcing me to finish it solo. Any guesses who that might’ve been?
Nope. Not one ounce of sympathy.
So when I’m assigned to tutor him in physics, I tell him flat out I’m not gonna go easy on him.
I won’t be swayed by his ridiculously sexy dimpled smile. Or the fact that he actually shows up for our sessions.
Him bringing me my favorite burger every time? Irrelevant.
And I’m definitely ignoring the funny feeling I get in my stomach when he tells me he’s bi.
I’m learning firsthand about gravitational attraction—and how impossible it is to resist.
But even though there’s no equation where this adds up to anything but heartbreak… Guess who’s failing this particular test?
Mini Review:
I am already head over heels in love with this series, so being treated to a prequel featuring all our favorites before their stories take place was an absolute delight – especially getting to hang with Jesse again! If you haven’t read the Extracurricular Series, I can’t recommend it enough.
In Test Me, we follow Josh and Logan. Logan is a good friend of Jesse’s, while Josh is a fellow frat brother of Nate’s and a Lacrosse player. When Josh’s grades start slipping in physics, Logan is enlisted (despite his resistance) to help Josh get back on track. It wouldn’t be so bad, except Logan can’t seem to let go of their previous encounter – `a group project where Josh inevitably bailed, leaving Logan to do all the work.
Expecting the same this time around, Logan is surprised when Josh not only puts in the effort but also shows some unexpected attention…and possibly flirting? Logan is convinced there’s no way this straight, gorgeous Lacrosse player could be interested. Little does he know, Josh is bi and has been harboring a crush on Logan for quite some time.
The two of them together are absolutely adorable! Logan is so guarded because he can’t imagine someone like Josh liking him, and the dance they do around each other will have you grinning from ear to ear.
As a novella, Neve kept everything sweet and forward-moving, perfectly setting up the rest of the series. I still want Ansel’s story! If that house is truly magical, he’s next!

About the Book Author
Neve Wilder
Neve Wilder reads promiscuously, across multiple genres, but her favorite stories always contain an element of romance. Incidentally, this is also what she likes to write. Slow-burners with delicious tension? Yes. Whiplash-inducing page-turners, also yes. And every flavor in between.
She believes that love conquers all. Except the heat index in July. Nothing can conquer that b@stard.
