Unlike the first book, this one was pretty straightforward. Acting as somewhat of a continuation, we follow Kendall and Ryan to the cabin as they set up for Cameron and Elijah’s honeymoon. Same premise as before: they are unexpectedly snowed in and have to make do until they are able to leave the cabin. Kendall has always harbored a secret crush on Ryan but hates how he sees her. Ryan has a preconceived notion of who Kendall is, and while he is attracted to her, he wants as little to do with her as possible. Being trapped together causes them to find ways to entertain themselves, including a drinking game that removes all judgment and leaves only one thing behind – their lustful attraction for one another. Again, unlike the first book, this one is focused solely on being trapped together, the heat that arises, and their happily ever after. Very little drama and not a lot of takeaway, but still a very enjoyable read.
