    Mini Review:

    Full confession – this was my first paranormal romance (and probably my last). Don’t get me wrong – completely LOVED the book but the overall sub-genre is just not my thing. For those who do enjoy shapeshifter romances, I would highly recommend it. Eve packed A LOT in 188 pages! It’s funny, incredibly hot, completely enthralling, and I couldn’t stop reading it – despite rolling my eyes at the overall idea of shapeshifting lions and Lycans lurking in the shadows. Ok, I won’t lie – a little part of me is tempted to read the second book.
     
    The story kicks off when Arik, the Alpha of the Concrete Jungle, has his mane mangled by a human hairdresser. Determined to exact his revenge, he finds himself drawn to her more than he expected. The problem is so is her ex-boyfriend who doesn’t seem to want to accept that his relationship with Kira is over. Now destined to protect his mate at all cost, Arik enlist the help of his Beta and Omega to bring down the intruder while convincing Kira that they are meant to be.
